The hotel was not far from Grünerløkka, a very hip and trendy part of Oslo, and the famous Mathallen covered food market. the breakfast was varied with a good variety; the staff were service-minded.

Thank you for a nice stay. The venue is PERFECT and modern, its location is magnificent, near the central railwaystation and the river n the regenerated Vulkan area. Their rooms are always neat and functional with great view and a great bathroom plus big windows.

We really enjoyed our stay at Scandic Vulkan in Oslo. the staff was excellent and provided us with great advice. the breakfast was luxurious with fantastic gluten-free options including sweet cheese and salmon. the hotel's central location in a quiet area was perfect. Free Wi-Fi was available throughout the property and the service was good.

Very good and varied breakfast buffet. Cosy beds. I especially liked the proximity to Grünerløkka. Also many places within walking distance.
Too small storage space in the room. No real cupboards. And I was disappointed that there are only 2 (!) rental bikes for the whole hotel. That's a little unthoughtful in terms of the number of guests.
